Agreement Solidifies a Strategic, International Business and Telecom Hub in PortugalMORRISTOWN, NJ - March 4, 2005 --
Tyco Telecommunications, a leading provider of international wholesale capacity and colocation services on the Tyco Global Network (TGN), announced today that it has signed a multi-year contract for premium colocation services at the TGN Lisbon TelExchange Center (TEC) with Portugal-based NFSI, a rapidly growing Internet service provider and value-added service host. This agreement establishes the TGN Lisbon TEC as a strategic, international business and telecom hub within Portugal and enables NFSI to expand its portfolio of services, including dedicated hosting, multimedia hosting, server colocation and disaster recovery solutions for its customers worldwide.
NFSI signed the contract for colocation services in late December 2004 and has brought their operations on line at the TGN-hosted Lisbon facility this month. This move underscores the companies’ dedication to the development of the Portuguese market and NFSI’s role as a driving force in the industry.
