Critically Acclaimed Television Program to Feature Tyco Telecommunications Cable

MORRISTOWN, N.J. - September 12, 2006 --

Tyco Telecommunications, a business unit of Tyco Electronics and an industry pioneer in undersea communications technology and marine services, announced today its undersea cable, which utilizes copper, was selected to appear on the critically acclaimed program, Modern Marvels: Copper. The episode will explore the history of copper from Ancient Egyptian methods through to the numerous high technology uses of the element today. The program will air on the History Channel on September 13, 2006 at 10 PM EST.
